These are simply unvented hot water cylinders, and are high-performance solutions for those who want powerful showers, and who dont want to install an electric shower. This takes cold mains water, and heats it up with the use of a gas-fired boiler supplying hot water within a coil pipe system, causing the heated water in the cylinder to rise.
It then passes to either a hot water tank for temporary storage, or directly to the hot taps.
